Named for a corner and famous straight at Le Mans, the company claims the new Mulsanne represents the "epitome of Bentley", and a "fusion of extremes".

Bentley has famously scored six outright victories at the Le Mans 24 hour endurance race. While modern racing cars look decidedly different to the Mulsanne you see here, the new luxury flagship has been designed and engineered to capture the spirit of motoring ambition established by company founder W.O. Bentley.

His dream, according to Richard Charlesworth, director of Royal and V.I.P. relations, and head of the Bentley heritage collection, was a car "large, fast, silent and comfortable" - the "pinnacle of motoring". 90 years on, this is the result: "a powerful and elegant driver's car like nothing else on the road".

Celebrating Bentley's 90th anniversary at Pebble Beach, the new Mulsanne was displayed alongside W.O.'s own 1930 Bentley 8-litre. Technical details of the new car currently remain a closely guarded secret, but join us on a tour of the exterior, and we'll tell you what we do know.

Yep, but the wavey shoulder line is almost like a detroit "coke bottle", nice. It would defo look the business if it had a proper front end with 4 proper lights, it lets the whole car down :S
