I would say either 1 or 2 start time Keano yeah it was a bit obvious these two would make the final but they are the best its up to the rest of them to stop them |

Ok so what are the predictions here for the final Roddicks only hope is in tiebreaks I would say as he wont break the fed serve Im going for straight sets for fed |

Im not sure,I would say around a 2 start,last years final was the greatest sporting event I have seen so its a shame to see this years weak lineup but Roddick got here so I guess he deserves it |

Federer vs Roddick wimbledon final was first ever tennis match I watched.  Not sure what year it was. Anyway it better be a good final!

ROGER FEDERER HAS BEATEN ANDY RODDIC FROM THE FIRST MINUTE TO THE LAST I WAS CHEERING AND SCREAMING ANDY RODDICK ON AND I CANT TELL YOU HOW DEVASTATED I AM BUT TO BE HONEST I AM FELLING MANY EMOTIONS AT THE MINUTE. I AM SO SO PROUD OF EVERYTHING ANDY HAS ACHIEVED IN THE PAST 2 WEEKS AND I AM ESPECIALLY PROUD OF HOW WELL HE PERFORMED TODAY BECAUSE BELIEVE ME HE HAD ROGER FEDERER ON THE ROPES AND THERE WERE ALOT OF KEY MOMENTS WHICH WENT AGAINST RODDICK WHICH I WILL TALK ABOUT IN A SECOND. BEFORE I START OFF I WANT TO SAY WELL DONE TO ROGER FEDERER WHO DESPITE NOT PLAYING THAT WELL TODAY CAME THROUGH LIKE THE CHAMPION HE IS AND TO WIN 15 GRAND SLAMS JUST SHOWS YOU WHAT A TRUE CHAMPION THE GUY IS THATS WHY HE IS THE BEST EVER OK SO THE FIRST SET WENT PRETTY SMOOTHLY AND IT WAS PRETTY EVEN BUT MR RODDICK BROKE FEDERERS SERVE TO WIN THE FIRST SET 7-5 IT REALLY WAS GAME ON AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE GAME NEEDED. I AM JUMPING UP AND DOWN IN MY LIVING ROOM AND HAVING THE HOUSE TO MYSELF WITH NO DISTRACTIONS AND I WAS DESPERATE FOR ANDY TO DO SOMETHING SPECIAL AND BREAK ALL THESE STATS THAT FAVOUR RF. THE SECOND SET WENT ALL THE WAY TO A TIE BREAK WITH NO ONE BREAKING SERVE AND YOU JUST KNEW THIS SET WOULD BE THE CRUCIAL DEFINING SET AND IN MANY WAYS THATS HOW IT TURNED OUT TO BE. ANDY RODDICK WAS AMAZINGLY LEADING 6-2 AND WAS 4 SET POINTS UP AND HE WAS SERVING TO MAKE IT 7-2 WHICH WOULD HAVE MADE HIM 2 LOVE UP WHICH SURELY WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO MUCH FOR FEDERER TO COME BACK WITH THE WAY RODDICK WAS PLAYING. HOWEVER THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE THING HAPPENED AND ROGER CAME BACK TO WIN THE TIEBREAK I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT IT TOOK MY A LONG TIME TO GET THAT OUT OF MY SYSTEM SO YOU COULD ONLY IMAGINE WHAT RODDICK WAS FEELING AND AT THIS POINT I WAS FEARING THE INEVITABLE. THE THIRD SET WAS SIMULAR TO THE SECOND WITH IT GOING TO A TIEBREAK BUT THIS TIME FEDERER CRUISED IT AND WENT 2 SETS TO 1 UP AND I WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE LUCK FEDERER WAS GETTING BECAUSE HE DIDNT DESERVE TO BE LEADING BUT OK LETS GO FOR IT THERES NOTHING TO LOSE NOW. THE FOURTH SET WAS BRILLIANT AND THE MOMENT RODDICK BROKE SERVE TO MAKE IT 3-1 I JUST KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO 5 SETS BUT IT WAS AGONIZING BECAUSE I WAS TAKING NOTHING FOR GRANTED AND I SHOUTED AND CLAPPED FOR EVERY POINT AS IT MEANT ANOTHER SET BACK TO RECOVERY. HE WENT ON TO WIN 6-3 AND SO IT WENT DOWN TO THE FINAL SET AND THIS IS IT THE GUY WHO BREAKS SERVE IS MOST LIKELY TO WIN THE MATCH AND THE TOURNAMENT AND THE INTENSITY JUST RISES. BOTH PLAYERS WERE PLAYING SOME NICE RALLIES BUT NOBODY WAS ABLE TO BREAK SERVE SO EACH PLAYER JUST KEPT WINNING THEIR SERVICE GAME AND THIS WAS GOING ON FOR SOMETIME. MY BIGGEST REGRET WAS THAT ANDY RODDICK WAS JUST ONE POINT AWAY FROM SERVING FOR THE MATCH AND HAD HE OF GOT THAT POINT HE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CHAMPION NOW. IT WAS A THRILLING FINALE BUT I WAS GETTING REALLY ANXIOUS AND NERVOUS BECAUSE ALL THESE MATCHES WERE TAKING A TOLL ON ANDY BECAUSE HE MADE WAY MORE TENNIS AND HE HAD TOUGHER OPPONENTS SO PHYSICALLY HIS LEVEL WENT DOWN A TAD AND HE WAS UNABLE TO RUN SO MUCH. BOTH PLAYERS WENT REALLY CLOSE TO BREAKING SERVE BUT IN THE END IT WAS ROGER WHO BROKE IT SO CONGRATULATIONS TO HIM BUT IMO HE DIDNT DESERVE TO WIN TODAY AND IM FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT IT TO BE HONEST. HE HAD THE ADVANTAGE OF SERVING FIRST WHICH MEANT HE WAS ALWAYS LEADING AND ANDY RODDICK HAD TO SERVE LIKE 9 TIMES JUST TO STAY IN THE MATCH SO IT WAS TOUGH. THE THING THAT REALLY HAUNTS ME IS THAT ANDY RODDICK MISSED A SITTER TO GO 2 SETS UP AND I HAVE NO DOUBTS THAT HE WOULD HAVE WON WIMBLEDON IF HE HAD WON THAT TIEBREAK BECAUSE ANDY WAS ON A HIGH AND FEDERER WAS THERE FOR THE TAKING TODAY BUT IN THE END ROGER WON DUE TO HIS CHAMPION QUALITIES. ANDY RODDICK TRIED MAKING A FEW JOKES WHEN HE WAS SPEAKING TO SUE BARKER BUT AFTERWARDS YOU COULD SEE THE GUY HAD TEARS IN HIS EYES AND NO DOUBT IN THE LOCKER ROOM HE PROBABLY SAT DOWN FOR A WHILE THINKING "WHAT IF" NEVER MIND MATE YOU ARE STILL A CHAMPION IN MY EYES AND I AM REALLY GUTTED FOR YOU JUST LIKE ALL THE FANS WERE WHO GAVE YOU THE BIGGEST CHEER. YOU PLAYED SO WELL ESPECIALLY IN THE LAST 2 MATCHES AND YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE BUT IM HPPY TO SEE RODDICK BACK TO HIS BEST PLAYING HIS BEST STUFF IN YEARS BUT THIS ONE WILL BE A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW AS IT WILL BE HARD TO WIN WIMBLEDON NOW. |

So you wanted Roddick to win then? Hard court season is coming up, which should suit him more, so hopefully he can mount another challenge at the US which I think is very likely we could see another Rod v Fed final there if he keeps up this form. |

Nadal should take another month of and rest,what people dont realise is the US hard court is the same as the Austrailian hard courts as they play at the same speeds.Nadal won the Austrailian so he is more than ready for the grand slam and to add to his legacy,Fed feels he has to beat Nadal in a grand slam before he is really number 1 again |
